Engine Displacement options.

The chart shows the popular Engine Displacement's when using a particular Crank size (1st column) and Piston Size (top line)

Using the Stock sized Crank it's possible to increase capacity to 1914cc

Once you start using what we call a 'Stroker' crankshaft, you can increase the size further, but with limited space in a stock crankcase, we will only use upto a 76mm crankshaft.

To go further than a 76mm crankshaft we highly recommend a new Crankcase, which are now available pre- clearanced to accept an 86mm crank.

As you can see, it's possible to take your very basic 1600cc right up to 2442cc although once you go past 84mm there are numerous complications (as there are with piston sizes) to consider, but these can be discussed on a later blog!
